Components:
- two pounds ground sirloin beef
- one/two cup panko
- one egg
- 1/two cup sliced almonds
- 1/four cup refreshing ginger
- 1/2 cup eco-friendly onions sliced
- two tablespoons soy sauce
- one/two teaspoon salt
- one/two teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons of sesame oil
- 3/4 cup broccoli sprouts
- 8 parts shaved cucumber ribbons (2 for every burger)
- four whole wheat baker’s rolls
Guidance:
- Wasabi Dressing: one half cup mayonnaise, 1/4 cup sour cream, two tablespoons wasabi paste. Combine all components.
- Taste it and add more if you like it seriously spicy. This dish can be prepared ahead of time and placed in the fridge for a week or so. Also, makes an excellent dip.
- Burger patties: Combine first seven ingredients thoroughly, then include salt & pepper.
- Make into patties and place patties very close to each other on the grill.
- Check each patty to see if it is holding up on the grill and not slipping apart. These are delicate burgers. Be certain to coat grill with non-stick spray. Do not brown it too much or it’ll dry out on the grill.
- Brush sesame oil on baker’s roll and toast on the outer edges of grill. When rolls are toasted, spread wasabi sauce on leading bun and add broccoli sprouts. Place meat on bottom bun and 2 cucumber ribbons and the other bun on top.
