Gnocchi and Wilted Spinach Salad

Elements:

  • 1 pound packaged gnocchi
  • six ounces little one spinach leaves
  • four strips thick cut bacon, chopped
  • two shallots, thinly sliced
  • 3/4 cup walnut items
  • 1 juice of lemon
  • one/4 + tsp. nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons Honey
  • half cup dried cherries (optional)

Guidance:

  1. Bring a big pot of salted water to a boil.
  2. Put a large skillet in about medium heat. Incorporate the bacon and sizzle until eventually  crispy.
  3. Include the shallots to the bacon and sauté for one or two minutes. Then include the walnuts and nutmeg.
  4. Meanwhile Toss the gnocchi into the boiling drinking water. Cook until all the gnocchi are floating, three-four minutes. After the gnocchi is ready, use a slotted spoon to transfer it to the skillet.
  5. Toss in the cherries and stir. Finally incorporate the lemon juice, honey and two-three Tb. of pasta h2o. Salt and pepper to style.
  6. Place the spinach in a massive bowl. Pour the scorching gnocchi mixture in the spinach and toss.Serve quickly!
